Controversial Nigerian entertainer, Speed Darlington, has set the internet ablaze with a fiery response to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) following reports that he is allegedly wanted by the agency.

In a bold video message currently trending on social media, Speed Darlington flatly denied any wrongdoing and demanded a ₦2.5 million appearance fee before he would consider honoring any invitation from the authorities.

“All those ‘Wanted’ pictures you people posted about me, I need all of them deleted. I’m not coming anywhere, I did not commit any crime.

If you want me to come, you have to pay me ₦2.5 million for my appearance,” he declared unapologetically.

The dramatic outburst comes after unverified reports surfaced online claiming the singer was being sought by NAPTIP in connection with undisclosed charges.

While the agency is yet to officially confirm the reason behind the alleged warrant, Speed Darlington wasted no time addressing the matter head-on in his typical no-holds-barred fashion.

Known for his eccentric persona and unfiltered social media presence, Speed Darlington has often courted controversy — but this latest development has pushed him back into the spotlight with full force.

His refusal to comply unless compensated has sparked a flurry of reactions across platforms, with many Nigerians divided over whether he is genuinely innocent or simply evading accountability.

With “Speed Darlington,” “NAPTIP,” and “₦2.5 million appearance fee” gaining traction fast, critics have slammed his remarks as reckless, others argue that the entertainer is merely defending himself against what he calls defamation and public embarrassment.

As of now, NAPTIP has not issued a formal response to Speed Darlington’s video or clarified the alleged charges against him.

Meanwhile, the internet waits to see whether the self-proclaimed “Energy god” will eventually face legal action—or get his ₦2.5 million appearance fee.
