Newly Appointed Members
The newly appointed members, as announced by the President\'s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, are:
- Olusegun Omosehin: Representing the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).
- Engr. Wole Ogunsanya: From the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN).
- Mazi Sam Azoka Onyechi: Representing the Nigerian Content Consultative Forum (NCCF).
- Barrister Owei Oyanbo: From the Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
These appointments were necessitated by the departure of previous institutional representatives from the Governing Council.

- The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC)
- The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL)
- The Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN)
- The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN)
- The Nigerian Content Consultative Forum (NCCF)
- The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM)
